Wrapping up Christmas

Christmas was grand. We kept with the usual traditions and added a couple of new. This year the girls each created "good deed jars" and we filled them with little strips of paper with good deeds written on them. Each day for a couple of weeks leading up to the big day, they pulled a strip of paper and attempted to perform the deed for that day. Some were easy, like "give someone a hug" and some were harder and took more thought, but they both really tried. On Christmas Eve they sealed an envelope with the completed deeds inside and left it for Santa.

Sprinkling reindeer food on the lawn before bed...

Christmas morning: The deal is everyone has to wait to dig into Santa's goodies until Daddy has his coffee in hand. C'mon coffee maker!!

The furry kids patiently wait for their turn for gifts.
I think Mamaw may have beaten Santa in the gift department this year -- two happy girls!

Three very lucky silly dilly cousins.

Happy Holidays all!
